Diploma in Landscape Design

The Diploma in Landscape Design is designed to provide learners with a practical, job-ready foundation in landscape planning, planting design, sustainability, digital visualisation, and landscape project documentation.

The programme introduces learners to the principles of landscape architecture, tropical planting and horticulture, digital drafting and visualisation tools, sustainable site planning, landscape construction and materials, smart landscape engineering, environmental impact assessment, regulatory compliance, and professional practice.

Through blended learning, classroom facilitation, supervised practicum, practical software lab activities, design critiques, e-learning, and a capstone project, students will develop the technical, ecological, aesthetic, and regulatory knowledge required to support landscape design and urban greening projects in Singapore.

The course is suitable for learners who wish to enter or transition into the landscape design and horticulture industry, especially in the context of Singapore's rapidly urbanising and green-focused built environment.

  • Post-secondary graduates, including GCE 'O' Level, Nitec, Higher Nitec, or equivalent learners seeking a specialised diploma pathway outside traditional polytechnic routes;
