Introduction
In this intensive Certificate course, a systematic approach of Embedded System Hardware and Firmware Design is introduced. This course starts from the basic concepts of Analog and Digital Electronics, then swings over to C Programming and more advanced topics such as Microcontroller System Design and Development. to advanced topics of Embedded Real-Time System Design.
All modules are accompanied by a series of well-designed hands-on projects and all students will be provided with industrial standard development kits during this Certificate course. Upon completing this course, students are well-prepared and ready to move on to the Certificate in Embedded System Design Level 2 course.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Academic Requirements

- 1 year of relevant working experience
Students will be assessed through exercises and projects.
- Successful completion of the prescribed academic unit requirement as set out by the programme curriculum.
- Attendance of minimum 75% must be met.
