The Advanced Diploma in Industrial Design is a comprehensive program that seamlessly integrates AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Sketchup, hand drawing, and CNC technologies to equip students with a diverse skill set crucial for industrial product design. Our curriculum encompasses the principles and theory of industrial design, providing students with a strong foundation in both 2D and 3D design, modelling, and simulation.

Through hands-on assignments, students not only delve into practical product designing but also gain proficiency in utilising AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Sketchup, and hand drawing techniques. The program emphasises the entire product design process, from conceptualization to implementation, and guides students in applying their design concepts to real-world scenarios. Additionally, they acquire expertise in CNC technology, including G-Code programming for CNC milling, enabling them to bring their designs to life with precision.

Academic Requirements:

  • Obtained at least grade C6 in English, Elementary Mathematics, Science (any one subject of pure science or any combined science) + 1 additional subject at GCE O Level or ITE Nitec with – GPA 3.0 or equivalent.
  • Applicants who does not meet the above requirement but has minimum 5 years working experience in the relevant field may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Language Proficiency:

Pass with Grade 5 and above in English at GCE N(A) Level OR Grade D and above for GCE N(T) level OR D7 and above in English at GCE O Level OR equivalent.

Target Audience:

Singapore citizens, permanent residents, valid work pass holders with age above 16 years old.

  1. Successful completion of the prescribed academic unit requirement as set out by the program curriculum.
