Throughout the intensive Diploma course, students acquire expertise in repairing, troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining both common analogue and digital electronics equipment. The curriculum also emphasises the use and maintenance of electronic measuring instruments, along with the ability to analyse and interpret electronic schematic and assembly drawings. Furthermore, students develop proficiency in utilising computer-aided printed circuit board (PCB) design tools and gain hands-on experience in writing and executing application programs for microprocessor-based systems.

This Advanced Diploma not only provides a robust foundation in industrial electronics but also caters to the specific needs of aspiring Licensed Electrical Workers (LEWs). Academic Requirements:

Obtained at least grade C6 in English, Elementary Mathematics, Science (any one subject of pure science or any combined science) + 1 additional subject at GCE O Level or ITE Nitec with – GPA 3.0 or equivalent.

Applicants who does not meet the above requirement but has minimum 5 years working experience in the relevant field may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Language Proficiency:

Pass with Grade 5 and above in English at GCE N(A) Level OR Grade D and above for GCE N(T) level OR D7 and above in English at GCE O Level OR equivalent.

Target Audience:

Singapore citizens, permanent residents, valid work pass holders with age above 16 years old.
